Reid Ashbaucher is an independent non-denominational chaplain and currently serving in Northwest Ohio.
Reid is a native of Ohio and holds a B.A. degree in Comprehensive Bible from Cedarville University of Ohio an M.A. degree in Christian Theology from Trinity Theological Seminary of Indiana and has completed some postgraduate work towards a Ph.D. in Religious Studies endorsed by Canterbury Christ Church University, England.
Reid has been married for 39 years and has four children. Reid has also been a follower of Jesus Christ for over 56 years, while experiencing life in the secular world of military service, business ownership and a long career in Radio Broadcast Engineering and Electronic Technician service, Reid has served in local Christian churches as deacon, teacher and pulpit supply. First Timothy 4:14 states not to neglect the spiritual gift within you. The Chaplain Ministry is one avenue for Reid to follow in obedience to this command.
Throughout his life, Reid has sought to promote the Word of God as the source of true reality in all things. This reality can be summed up in Jesus Christ’s words as He states: “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts upon them, may be compared to a wise man, who built his house upon the rock” (Matthew 7:24; NASB).
Reid Ashbaucher is the Author of, “Made in the Image of God: Understanding the Nature of God and Mankind in a Changing World” (First and Revised Editions), “The Christian Faith: A Quick Guide To Understanding Its Inter-Workings” (First and Second Editions) and “How To Understand And Live Your Faith” (All Available Worldwide), and is now semi-retired to be involved in chaplain ministry. Reid is legally ordained and licensed as a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and appointed as an independent chaplain through Chaplain Fellowship Ministries International (CFMI).
